Naturally Leavened oven-baked cake.

Our Mandorlato is a sweet, naturally leavened baked product, free from genetically modified ingredients.  Made following a traditional Balocco recipe, it is the first panettone to be made with almonds and sugar.

Prepared with high quality fresh Italian milkeggs from free-range hens, rich in raisins and candied fruit, covered with hand-made hazelnut glaze, with whole almonds and frosted sugar.

Ingredients:

Wheat flour - raisins 12.4% - hazelnuts glaze 10% (sugar - rice flour - hazelnuts 7.3% corresponding to 0.7% of the total ingredients - sunflower oil - powdered egg white 2.5% corresponding to 0.2% of the total ingredients - wheat flour - flavourings) - butter - candied orange and citron peels 8.2%(orange peels 43% - glucose - fructose syrup - sugar- citron peels 11% - acidity regulator: citric acid)- fresh egg yolk 7%- sugar- natural yeast 6.2%(wheat flour- water)-fresh pasteurized milk 3.4%- almonds 2.2%- invert sugar syrup- frosted sugar 1.7%- emulsifiers: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids- salt- natural flavourings. May contain other tree nuts, soya and mustard.
